PROCESS EXPO, the largest tradeshow dedicated to the food and beverage processing industry, will open on November 2, 2021 bringing back the in-person tradeshow experience and offering an excellent opportunity for attendees to build strong business networks and acquire knowledge and meaningful insights. This first post-pandemic edition will be held in Chicago, from November 2-5, 2022, at McCormick Place.
Designed to promote a fully immersive experience, PROCESS EXPO will feature a vast hall of exhibitors showcasing the latest in machines, products, technology and services from all food and beverage processing and packaging industry segments, including bakery, beverage, cheese and dairy, meat, poultry and seafood, pet food, prepared food, cannabis edibles, and confectionery, and others. Event Highlights
Production Lines | In a show feature completely unique to PROCESS EXPO, attendees will have the opportunity to experience processing technology in action. The 2021 edition will highlight the meat, prepared foods and bakery sectors, and will feature lines producing meatballs, plant-based chicken nuggets, and gluten-free dinner rolls. All three lines will showcase the entire production process, from creation to final packaging.
Innovations Showcase | This biennial competition highlights the top technological innovations in processing and packaging for all industry segments. Winners will be announced during the official show press conference, and a “People’s Choice Award” will be given on the third day of the show.
Women’s Alliance Breakfast | Returning to PROCESS EXPO 2021, the Women’s Breakfast celebrates all women who have made a difference in the industry, highlighting those who positively impacted on women’s careers and gender balance in the food and beverage business. This year’s featured speaker is Christie Lagally, Founder and CEO of Rebellyous Foods.
The Breakfast will also feature the FPSA Women's Alliance Network Red Circle Honors. These awards acknowledge women in the food and beverage industry and one FPSA member company in the categories of Rising Star, Innovation and Inspiration, Career Excellence, and Achievement in Developing and Promoting Women.
Defeat Hunger | PROCESS EXPO will once again promote the Defeat Hunger campaign during its 2021 edition. Visitors and exhibitors can help fight hunger in the Greater Chicago Area by donating online, sending a check directly to the Greater Chicago Food Depository (campaign beneficiary), or including their contribution with their booth shipment to the show. Defeat Hunger is part of FPSA's Giving Back initiative.
Food For Thought | Throughout the four days, Food for Thought and The Food Safety Summit sponsored by BNP Media will highlight innovation, sustainability, safety, and technological advancements moving the industry forward. Discussed by field experts and curated speakers from leading companies, this program is designed to provide visitors with a new industry perspective that will help take their business to the next level.
PE University | The PROCESS EXPO University program highlights all essential industry topics such as automation and alternative methods of production, and food processing and packaging topics specific to each of the major industry segments. In booth #6066, CHL Systems will house two demonstrations occurring simultaneously: Their Raw Product Delta Pick and Place Robotic Cell demonstrates iRVision (3DV) imaging used to locate and reorient chicken breasts on a continuous infeed conveyor. Also running will be their 6 Axis Palletizing and Depalletizing Robotic Cell, which demonstrates continuous palletizing operation in a small footprint, at up to 14 cycles per minute.

Stop by booth #10051 to see OMEGA Engineering’s innovative HANI (High Accuracy, Non-Invasive) Clamp Temperature Sensor will be demonstrated once daily throughout the four days of PROCESS EXPO.
